Arcadia Joust

(Heads-Up Tournament)

Buy-in = $40

Prize Pool: $1,280*

1st Place – $500
2nd Place – $300
3rd Places(x2) – $120 each
4th Places(x4)  –  $60 each

*Based on 32 players.
If we don’t reach 32 players, each pay spot will be reduced by $5 per player short of the 32.
If we have More than 32 players, then each pay spot will be increased by $5 per additional player in this tourney.

This basically works like a bracket:
In a PERFECT world, we will have exactly 32 players and will go as such:
32 players = 16 match-ups to start.
Then down to 16 players for 8 match-ups.
So forth and so on.
Blinds and starting stacks reset and restart after single eliminations from each match happen, and we continue down the bracket til final match.

MORE THAN LIKELY, these will be our 2 scenarios:
A. We have LESS than 32 players
or
B. We have MORE than 32 players.

Either way, we will draw for table & seats as we would for a normal TX hold’em tournament with designated dealers at each of the 4 tables.
Starting stack of 35,000 and this will be Round 1 and played as a full-ring NLHE game… until each table is down to 4 players each, with no moving of players to other tables. Round 1 ends when there are 4 players remaining at each table. Then we redraw for actual heads-up matches and proceed to Round 2.

Round 1 Starting stack: 35,000
Round 2 Starting Stack: 40,000
Round 3 Starting Stack: 40,000
Round 4 Starting Stack: 40,000
